We need medicine and other supplies

One of our most urgent and costly needs is medical supplies. We have a limited budget to support constant demand so we often need to rely on the kindness of people to provide us with basics. In addition, there are some general items we always require too. Below is a running wishlist and shipping instructions. If you are interested in donating anything not listed, please contact our General Manager (info@lantaanimalwelfare.com) to inquire, as Thailand has strict rules for the importation of medicines.

All flea and tick treatments – Frontline, Advantix, Advocate, Advantage, flea/tick collars
Oesphageal and nasogastric feeding tubes
Feeding syringes and liquid feed diet (Eg. Liquivit, RCW convalescence)
Antivirals; famciclovir tablets, aciclovir eye drops
Intravenous antibiotics (amoxy-clav, cephalosporins)
Injectable and oral meloxicam and carprofen
Wormers – Milbemax, Drontal, Panacur, Helminticide
Ear drops – antibiotic and cleansing solutions
Eye drops/ointment – antibiotic

Surgical materials:
Drapes, monocryl and PDS, autoclave bags, sterile gloves size 61/2, dog and cat urinary catheters.
Suture material – Nylon, PDS, Monocryl, Vicryl, Visorb: especially size 2/0 And 3/0
Suture needles – straight, cutting, half cutting and round bodied
Haemostat powder, pads or dressings

Ophthalmoscope

Large, very strong,  leads for our dogs – we can never have enough!
Manuka honey – great for healing wounds!
Bedlinen for our volunteer rooms, particularly sheets (any size) and pillowcases
