Adopting an animal from Thailand

Sadly, our centre is always operating at full capacity. This means we urgently need to find people who are willing to adopt one of our beautiful dogs or cats. We have over 30 dogs and 60 cats of different sizes and personalities, both puppies/kittens and adults. All show tremendous love for humans and are in great need of your time and affection.

If you want to take an animal home we can help with the whole process, whether your home is here in Thailand or in another country. Please use the drop-down menu above for information on procedure and costs as well as the regulations applicable to your country. For adoptions abroad we will ensure the animal is fully vaccinated, has the necessary blood tests and fulfills the quarantine rules.

NOTE: all but a few of our dogs have already been rabies titre tested in preparation for travel to the EU, they have their certificates and are ready to go!

All our animals are spayed/neutered and rabies vaccinated. Our dogs are trained to walk on a leash. The cats are used to being outside during the day and in their houses at night.

Adoption is truly the biggest way you can make a difference to the life of a LAW animal. Please consider it – it is so much easier than you think!

Please email adoption@lantaanimalwelfare.com for more information.
