Mobile Clinics
We regularly conduct mobile spay & neuter clinics on Koh Lanta and even visit neighbouring islands to do the same, subject to available funds.
Over the years clinics have been carried out on several neighbouring islands, including Koh Jum, Koh Phi Phi and Koh Lipe and in 2016 for the first time in Koh Mook, sterilizing and vaccinating over 1000 animals.
Last year our team of volunteers were able to sterilise over 400 animals in the 4 day long clinic on Phi Phi island. This is just an example of the need for these clinics to humanely control the over population of stray cats and dogs who needlessly suffer with neglect, disease and starvation struggling to survive.
These clinics have always been generously funded by German charity WTG e.V, since 2013 and without the funding, we simply would not be able to afford to extend our clinics outside Koh Lanta.
These clinics cost us a huge amount of money to run and require expensive medication and hard work and long hours from our dedicated volunteers. If you would like to help us to continue this extremely important work, then please consider making a donation. Thank you.
