Flight Volunteers WANTED!

Traveling overseas or back home? Be a HERO and help our rescue animals who have been adopted to get to their new homes.
Flight volunteering for Lanta Animal Welfare is EASY and will cost you nothing.
We arrange everything for you including all paperwork.
You will feel amazing knowing you helped to take an animal to their deserving forever home!

All YOU have to do to be a flight volunteer is:
1. Send us you flight itinerary: Where you are flying, what date/time, which airline?
2. Send us some contact details:
If your flight looks good, we need: a scan / photo of your passport photo page, your telephone number and address, so we can do the paperwork.
3. Meet the animal at the airport:
On the day you fly, a LAW volunteer will meet you at the airport and bring the animal. They will help you check-in.
4. Handover the animal once landed:
Once you have arrived at your destination, the grateful adopter will meet you and take their animal home!

A FEW MORE THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW:
1. We need minimum 5 – 10 working days to complete the paper work, before you leave the country. (Transit via Taipei is more time consuming for paper work Min 7 days. Transit via Hong Kong is not possible).
2. The flight should be within the same airline or members in the same group
3. Minimal flight duration and layovers is preferred.
4. You can fly out from: Krabi, Phuket, Bangkok, Trang.
5. Package /charter flights will usually not except animals.

GOOD airlines to Europe:
SAS, KLM, Aeroflot, Condor, Thai airways, Finnair, Austrian Air, Lufthansa, Air France
NOT good airlines to Europe:
Norwegian air, Air Asia, Emirates, Quatar

GOOD airlines to North America and Canada:
Korean Air, JAL, EVA, ANA. Nippon, Thai airways, Quatar
NOT good airlines to North America and Canada:
Emirates, Chinese Eastern airlines

Unfortunately, flying directly in to the UK with animals can be costly, so often the cheapest way we can send animals there is overland from Brussels or Amsterdam. Again, please get in touch with us at adoption@lantaanimalwelfare.com for more information on this.
